Vince Zampella, Has Passed Away in an LA Vehicle Accident
Vince Zampella, who helped create the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in California he was 55 years old.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.
The renowned industry figure died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a motorway in LA on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, those closest to him, and all those touched by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
