The Streaming Giant Selects Perfect Star for Bon Clay in One Piece Upcoming Installment
The Secret Organization is geared up to make a major impact in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, although the true confrontation isn’t set to occur until season 3, and a cherished, fan-favorite member has recently been selected.
The platform declared recently that the talented performer will appear in the One Piece season 3 cast and will embody Bentham. This character possesses the power to transform into an exact copy of any individual they’ve made contact with with their right hand. Escola, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will portray a version of that character reinterpreted as gender non-binary, rather than as a drag performer, in the live-action show, unlike the source material and cartoon version.
This performer joins several other new cast members who will portray the group to life, such as leader Mr. 0, brought to life by the seasoned performer, a talented actress as another operative, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who will appear as the ensemble as the monarch of the desert kingdom.
Even though the role is a major member of Baroque Works, the individual won’t make their debut One Piece the upcoming installment. Considering season 2 expected to adapt the Little Garden arc, this marks a significant shift in the placement of the character’s debut, one that could indicate more adjustments to the plot development.
The actor’s combination of precise humor and deep sensitivity makes them a ideal selection for the role. Besides their latest vocal work in the animated coming-of-age film Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and multiple awards for writing and starring in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, highlighting the versatility they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s widely praised figures.
The platform’s adapted One Piece series is due to premiere for its next installment on the tenth of March, 2026.
