Fresh particulars have surfaced concerning the shocking passing of acclaimed film director Rob Reiner and visual artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were discovered at their Los Angeles home home on Sunday.

As detailed in an account citing a confidential source, a therapist scheduled for an appointment was the first to notice something was wrong after failing to get inside the residence. This individual then contacted the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who lives in the vicinity.

Upon entering the house, Romy discovered her father's body. Reports state she then left the home distraught, unaware at that moment that her mother's body was there as well. Her roommate who had accompanied her promptly called 911. Subsequently, first responders discovered Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Criminal Proceedings

Authorities have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with the charges of murder in the first degree, along with the alleged use of a deadly weapon, reportedly a knife. He is presently in custody and denied bail.
